I gotta say that I’m a huge fan of Lee Childs famous fictional character Jack Reacher. I’ve read all of the Jack Reacher books so far and I’ve always figured that Joe Pike would be the guy that Reacher goes after the next time since he’s the one with the dirty laundry, and I’m always right. But I’ve only read one of the books and I liked it, mainly because Reacher was a character I liked.
Jack Reacher and his long-time best friend, Sgt. Eddie Stampino (the person he goes to when he needs a little help), find themselves as a cab driver in New York. Reacher gets his daughter, Jim, a look at his old life. She wants to meet him, and Reacher wants to get a ticket for the Yankees Game. But things don’t go exactly as planned, and Reacher finds himself in a real mess.
Lee Child’s Jack Reacher series is one of my favorite series of all time. A large part of that is that this character and these books made me feel like I was ‘just like him’. It is like he is just one of the guys, and I am right there beside him. It is like his feet are planted firmly on the ground and he just lives his life and gets the paper work done. d2c66b5586
